Provincial Administration

Our administrative offices, headed by the Very Rev. John F. O'Connor, OFM, Provincial Minister, are located in the heart of New York City, on the second floor of St. Francis Friary.
The Provincial Administration is responsible for the various facets of caring for Holy Name Province's more than 360 members, orchestration of our many ministries, and maintaining our relationships with the dioceses in which we live and work as well as with the headquarters of the worldwide Order of Friars Minor in Rome.

The bi-weekly HNP Today e-newsletter is read by both friars and the public. In addition, the Communications Office manages this Web site and serves as the Province's contact point with external media.
