Justice and Peace
The pursuit of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) is one of the chief priorities of the Holy Name Province. This priority of the Province flows naturally from the life of St. Francis and the Franciscan movement that he inspired in pursuit of the Gospel Life.

From the General Constitutions of the Franciscan Order, it is clear that this priority is an integral dimension of Franciscan life:
"To lead a radically evangelical life in a spirit of prayer and devotion, and in fraternal fellowship," "to offer a witness of penance and minority," "to announce the Gospel throughout the whole world" embracing all in charity and "to preach reconciliation, peace and justice by their deeds and to show respect for creation" is essential to our life of Friars Minor. (General Constitutions 1, 2)
To this end, the Holy Name Province has two groups to assist its various ministries and the public experience this invitation to transform the world.
