Justice and Peace
Resources: JPIC Homily Tips
Each week, friars offer some thoughts on how to bring a Franciscan justice and peace perspective to the Sunday readings.
The request for these resources came from Holy Name Province's 2008 Chapter and guardians' meeting. The JPIC (Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation) Directorate heard from many friars that they would like a little assistance getting connected to materials that would help them better integrate JPIC themes into their Sunday preaching in a timely way.
We know that many friars take the Franciscan commitment to justice and peace very seriously. With other time commitments, we also know it is often difficult to be aware of the myriad of complex and relevant issues. Hopefully, these resources will be of assistance.
