Diaconate Ordination of Two Friars in Washington

Two Holy Name Province friars -- Brothers Cidouane Joseph and Erick Lopez -- will be ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Francisco Gonzalez, auxiliary bishop of Washington, at a 10 a.m. celebration in the Crypt Church in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

Franciscan Experience Weekend (FEW)

FEWs offer an opportunity for men interested in Franciscan life to discuss their calling in depth with our vocation director and other members of the vocation team. During the weekend, which is held at Holy Name College in Silver Spring, Md., guests also meet our friars in post-novitiate and learn about our initial formation program. Guests are generally invited to attend the weekend by the vocation director.
