Jubilee Celebration in New York City

Eighteen friars marking 50-and 25-year anniversaries as friars will be honored with a Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church on West 31st Street in New York City.  Provincial Minister Fr. Kevin Mullen, OFM, will celebrate the 5:30 p.m. Mass.

Retiro de Discernimento Vocacional en Español/Spanish-speaking Discernment Retreat

¿Has pensado en hacerte fraile franciscano? Ven y aprende más de nuestra vida de oración, en fraternidad y al servicio de la Iglesia y el mundo. Somos discípulos de Jesucristo, según el modelo de San Francisco de Asís.

Habrá un retiro de discernimiento vocacional en español del 28 al 30 de agosto de 2015 en nuestra casa de formación, Holy Name College, en Silver Spring, MD. Para hombres solteros entre los 21 y los 45 años.

Are you considering a call to the Franciscan life? Come and See our way of life. We are disciples of Jesus Christ according to the example of Saint Francis of Assisi. Come and See/Discernment Weekend in New York City

Join other men interested in the friars for a weekend retreat at St. Francis of Assisi Church in New York City. Visitors will share meals and conversations, pray, and celebrate the Eucharist with the friars to get an “immersion style” taste of Franciscan life. Participants will also learn about the ministries of our friars and our lay brothers and sisters.

Dr. Francis Greene of St. Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y., will also be joining the weekend as a special guest speaker.
